Flexible, Strong & Durable
Unlike Carbon combs which have no tension, Hard Rubber with Flexinite technology has tension to grip and move the hair when it becomes hot. Thus, they are ideally suited to work with Hot Iron to seal the bonds of the cortex. Carbon combs usually have no more than 30% carbon and do not contain these properties.
High heat & chemical resistant
Pegasus combs are heat resistant up to 450 degrees. Whereas plastic combs will oxidize and leave behind ingredients, Pegasus combs are chemical resistant and do not erode in barbicide solutions.
Seamless Teeth
The seams of the plastic combs damage the hair follicles by catching and breaking it. When hair is damaged, the cuticle scales become ragged causing the hair to appear dull and lifeless. Pegasus combs are produced from hard rubber and have no seams.
